In a meeting by ASUU with the FG. The representative of the federal government has proposed that tuition fee in public universities be increased to N500,000 for undergraduates in sciences and other Science related course.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has reportedly immediately rejected the proposed increment of school fees in Public universities by Dr Wale Babalakin, the negotiator between ASUU and Federal Government.

The federal government representative Wale Babalakin reportedly proposed that public universities tuition fee be increased to N350,000 for undergraduate students of Arts and Humanities and 500,000 for those in Sciences and other science related courses.

Prof. Lawan Abubakar, the Bauchi Zonal Coordinator of the Academic Staff Union of Universities made it know to Journalists while addressing them in JOS that the union has rejected the proposal by the Federal Government representative to increase tuition fee.

Prof. Lawan Abubakar said, “One of the major issues our union wishes to bring to public domain is the wild idea of sharing the cost of education between the government and parents proposed by Dr Wale Babalakin. This idea of sharing the cost of education since government alone cannot fund education, and that parents need to pay for it too.
“He proposed a minimum of N350, 000 as tuition fee for undergraduate students of Arts and Humanities, and N500,000, for those in Sciences.

“Our union rejected the proposal based on the fact that the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria clearly states that funding education is the sole responsibility of Governments at various levels and not parents”.

He further explains that ASUU also rejects Education Bank for Nigerian students

"The union also reportedly rejected the idea of Education Bank for undergraduates. The negotiating team were said to have also proposed a loan of N1 million for undergraduates, every session to pay the tuition fee and sustain themselves."

Abubakar said, '' our union also rejected the idea of Education Bank, because for one, not all the students will have access to loan, and for those who will access the loan, it is the same parents who served as sureties and subsequently pay back the loan, considering the very high rate of unemployment in the country.

“Supposing that the student is able to secure a job after graduation, he cannot start a life while paying back a loan of 4 to 6 million Naira, as the case may be.
“In this kind of situation, the graduate would be subjected to, when will he finish paying the loan and establish himself?

“Frustration will gradually set in and make them live a life of misery”

Prof. Lawan Abubakar explained.

Presidency ‘invites’ Davido to perform at APC governorship candidate, Gboyega Oyetola’s thanksgiving party.
Johannes Tobi is one of the members of President Buhari’s media team..

The Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, has described Thursday’s rerun election held in Osun State as a total sham and the biggest electoral fraud in the history of the country.

Saraki, who is also a presidential aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stated this while addressing journalists during his campaign tour in Kaduna State.

The Senate President consequently called for the cancellation of the result, especially in view of the complaints made about the supplementary election.

Saraki accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of rigging the election, stressing that the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke, ought to have been declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday.

This, he said, is because Adeleke had polled the highest number of votes based on the vote count on Sunday.

Iyiola Omisore, candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the Osun State governorship election, has told his supporters to “go with any political party that believes in what we in the SDP stand for”.

Since effectively dropping out of the race for the rerun election, following the very high but close votes of Ademola Candidate, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Isiaka Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Omisore has been courted by both camps in an attempt to swing the votes to a side.

HOTPLUG had exclusively reported that APC was planning to offer him a ministerial slot. However, according to a statement by Jide Fakorede, his media aide, Omisore had decided he would “not negotiate for personal gains and abandon my people”.

“After over 72 hours of pressure on him by both the leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC), the Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has said that what is paramount to him is the practice of true democracy in Osun State,” read the statement.

“Omisore firmly states that he will never renege on his promise of good governance, accountability and human dignity in Osun state.”

Fakorede quoted Omisore as saying: "Osun state has always been a stellar example of democracy where the people have consistently and freely expressed their franchise to determine who governs them.

“This should remain so. Osun people have shown that it is not business as usual. It is a positive deviation from what was hitherto the norm.

“I am telling my people that they should go with any political party that believes in what we in the SDP stand for: good governance, social justice and accountability. I have already detailed how we planned to restore Osun to the path of good governance through the five thematic pillars in the manifesto I shared during the electioneering. I will not negotiate for personal gains and abandon my people.

"My alliance is with the people of Osun state irrespective of the political party they belong. I want my people to be treated with the dignity they deserve. I desire that they have a government that will be accountable to them. I want them to experience the good governance the founding fathers of this state envisaged. I have told the parties that have solicited for my support to approach the electorates and ask for their mandate as I have assured them that I will not coerce them for political or social power. It is because I have kept my promise that has made me enjoyed their unalloyed support all these years.

“As highlighted in SDP manifestos, the five thematic pillars the SDP had hoped to implement to improve governance, eliminate financial reckless and reposition the economy of Osun state include: economic management and accountability; professionalism and performance; equity in access to service; local content and innovation and security.”

Omisore said these were the centre point of his campaign and “the democracy we both fought for and believe in”.

“It is the right and democratic freedom of people to choose of their own free will. Their votes should not be coerced by money, vote buying, intimidation in form of militarisation, and political and social power,” he added.

"Their voices of demand for good governance, accountability and human dignity should continue to be heard as well as salaries paid. All these are what I stand for and which the SDP had promised the people all through our electioneering campaigns. They are still paramount to me as we collectively chart the way forward for the governorship elections rerun in Osun state."

Omisore assured his followers and admirers that he would not abandon his campaign promises even as he engaged all stakeholders on the way forward to ensure the progress of Osun State is achieved.

The Osun state governorship election might have ended on a pensive, pending note but for some people, it signaled the beginning of greater things.

An upcoming artiste with twitter handle 'KIZPANTHER' jammed fortune with Davido while the counting of the recently held Osun gubernatorial election was ongoing on Sunday, September 23.

The Super star pop act displayed massive support for Senator Adeleke, a candidate who was his uncle, throughout the collation of election results.

To forward his loyalty and allegiance to the gubernatorial candidate, Davido wrote quite a lot of controversial and vehement tweets. As reported by HOTPLUG.COM.NG, the singer called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) several times.

He also extended his appeal for a free and fair election to the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

In a tweet to Buhari, Davido Adeleke urged the president who he called a man of integrity to do the right thing.
Several people raised their comments to the post and one of them was a young artiste identified as Kizpanther on Twitter.

Kizpanther, in a reply, simply wrote Amen. This somehow got the attention of Davido who tweeted back and said the one statement that the upcoming artiste had probably been waiting to hear for a long time and promised to sign him to the arguably most popular record label and gang in the Nigerian Music Industry.

Given the outcome of the just concluded election, it is yet to be known if Davido will go through with his words and sign the artist immediately or if he will wait till a more convenient time to do so. But a fan has enjoined that he keeps his promise any which way.

Yesterday, Facebook debuted its much talked about dating service – announced at its developer conference F8 earlier this year– in Columbia.  The social network doesn’t want to compete with Tinder, but instead will take on other major players such as OkCupid and Hinge by adopting a similar approach to matchmaking.

If you are an adult user in the South American country, you will see a notice at the top of the news feed to opt into the dating service. Facebook will ask you to verify your location using your device and add details such as a free-form bio, occupation, education, religion, and height. Thankfully, it lets you choose non-binary genders and sexual orientations.

You can then add photos from Facebook and Instagram and answer up to 20 questions like “What does your perfect day look like?” or “What song always makes you sing along?

After you create your profile, you can choose preferences for matches like distance (limited to 100km), religion and height. Once everything is set up, you will see your suggested matches on the dating service home screen. You will only see friends-of-friends or total strangers as suggested matches; friends or blocked people won’t appear in the list.

You can browse through these profiles and send them a message by responding to one of their photos or a question they have answered. If they like you, they can start a conversation, or tap ‘not interested’ and never see you again. This flow pretty closely resembles how Hinge – another popular dating app – functions.

Facebook said that at the moment the service will be only available in its mobile apps and the messages will live in a separate dating inbox. It added that there currently aren’t any plans to build a standalone app for this service, or to integrate it into Messenger.

A rather unique thing about Facebook dating is the ability to match with people who are attending the same event, or are part of the same group as you – although you do have to ‘Unlock’ each event to see if someone is attending it. That’s a smart way for the company to take advantage of two oft-used features of its platform. It’s kind of like the Places feature that Tinder rolled out this year to let you match with people who visit the same locations you’ve been to.

For safety and privacy measures, Facebook has kept almost every option of the service as an opt-in feature. Additionally, it only allows text and emojis in chats to avoid unsolicited pictures. Plus, Facebook fetches only your name and age from your profile to avoid revealing too much about you to people you don’t know much about.

While Facebook’s new service may look familiar to folks who’ve tried other dating apps, it has the advantage of having a tremendous amount of user data to suggest better matches. It’s too early to say how well Facebook Dating works, but it’s intriguing to follow the evolution of this social network which started out as a ‘Hot or Not’ site.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in this Saturday election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has insisted that he has not stepped down for the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Senator Iyiola Omisore.

Adeleke maintained that the report of him stepping down for Omisore was false.

In a statement by his spokesman, Malam Olawale Rasheed, on Friday, Adeleke also dismissed claims that he met with former president Olusegun Obasanjo, where he was prevailed upon to step down for Omisore.

The statement reads, “Ademola Adeleke has not stepped down for anybody. He remains the candidate of the PDP for the election.

“Senator Adeleke did not attend any meeting with General Olusegun Obasanjo or Senator Iyiola Omisore. He did not have any pact with any of the personalities.

“Senator Adeleke remains the PDP candidate. So voters are urged to ignore any fake news about Adeleke having any pact with SDP or ADP. PDP candidate is in this race to win,” Rasheed said.

Cardi B is not letting go of her anger for Nicki Minaj after their infamous fight during New York Fashion Week and she’s using her music as a way to get back to the fellow rapper.

Cardi B, 25, is still reeling over her fight with Nicki Minaj, 35, at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party during New York Fashion Week and she’s putting the negative energy into a new diss track! “Cardi B is still furious at Nicki and she is coming after her in a new diss track which might be released very soon, maybe even in the next few days or later this week,” a hip hop insider EXCLUSIVELY shared with HollywoodLife. “Cardi was in the studio working all night last night on the track which is full of heated words. She has been feeling inspired to get a few things off her chest because she has never felt more disrespected and motivated at the same time. New music is coming soon and Nicki better brace for impact.”

It sure sounds like Cardi is doing what she can to get back at the “Superbass” singer. After walking out of the party with a huge bump on her head, the new mother proved she’s willing to do whatever it takes to stand up for what she believes in. Shortly after the fight, Cardi took to social media to defend herself and explain that she did what she did because Nicki was allegedly talking ill of her baby daughter Kulture. Nicki denied the claim on her radio show, Queen Radio and pointed out that Cardi is an alleged liar.

Cardi’s diss track won’t be the first time she’s dissed Nicki. She recently took to social media to post a photo of top hip hop album sales for the year and pointed out that “numbers don’t lie” indicating her album Invasion of Privacy was on the list and Nicki’s album Queen was not. The post came after Nicki posted a series of tweets claiming she had the top album in the U.S. It will be interesting to see what Cardi’s diss track will say but either way, we’re sure she’ll have a lot of fans jumping to hear it!

Japan might be leading the race to become a global giant in cryptocurrencies, but it also is gaining news for all the wrong reasons as well. Japanese exchanges have been found vulnerable to hacks and security glitches pretty often and things don’t seem to be improving. In a recent hack, Japanese cryptocurrency firm Tech Bureau Corp said it said its Zaif Exchange was compromised to hackers and has nearly lost US$60 million worth of crypto assets.

Hack despite business improvement orders by regulators

In hacks, exchanges and companies are usually surprised by the attacks as they themselves are not aware of the vulnerabilities. But in case of this hack, it looks more of a negligence then unawareness. Tech Bureau the company that runs Zaif exchange was already slapped with two business improvement orders by the Japanese regulators this year.

In its statement, the company said its Zaif exchange was hacked over a two-hour period on Sep 14. It detected server problems on Sep 17, confirmed the hack the following day, and notified authorities, the exchange said on Thursday.

In this theft, virtual currencies worth about ¥6.7 billion, including Bitcoin, Monacoin and Bitcoin Cash, were stolen from the exchange’s “hot wallet”. About ¥2.2 billion worth of the stolen currency was its own while the remaining ¥4.5 billion belonged to customers, it said.

Following the hack, Tech Bureau said it had agreed with JASDAQ-listed Fisco Ltd to receive a ¥5 billion (US$44.59 million) investment in exchange for majority ownership. The proceeds from the investment would be used to replace the digital currencies stolen from client accounts. However, Fisco said in a statement the ¥5 billion in “financial assistance” may change in value if the amount affected by the theft changes upon further investigation.

Documents seen by Reuters on Thursday showed Japan’s Financial Services Agencywould conduct emergency checks on cryptocurrency exchange operators’ management of customer assets, following the theft. FSA officials were not immediately available for comment.

Japanese Exchanges vulnerability despite regulatory checks and encouragement for improvements

Japan already has some of the most vulnerable cryptocurrency hacks to its name. It all starts with 2014 with Mt. Gox. Mt. Gox was a bitcoin exchange based in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Launched in July 2010, by 2013 and into 2014 it was handling over 70% of all bitcoin (BTC) transactions worldwide, as the largest bitcoin intermediary and the world’s leading bitcoin exchange. In February 2014, Mt. Gox suspended trading due to hack.

In January this year, Japan faced another big hack as Tokyo-based cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck said on Sunday it would return about 46.3 billion yen ($425 million) of the virtual money it lost to hackers two days ago in one of the biggest-ever thefts of digital money.

Considering the demand, growing interest in cryptocurrencies and the vulnerabilities countries exchanges were facing, Japan’s regulators started ramping up their scrutiny on the industry with on-site inspections. This was done as a measure toward forcing cryptocurrency exchanges to adopt a stronger cybersecurity posture and more-secure consumer protection measures.

By taking these steps the regulators in Japan were considered to be setting a template for Cryptocurrency Regulation for other countries to follow, but with this hack, it seems the regulators will have to tighten the grip further. We will have to wait and watch how the regulators in Japan react to this news.

Will Japanese regulators tighten their grip on this vulnerable exchange that has already been issued notices? Do let us know your views on the same.

Slimcase, break through artiste known his ‘shaku shaku’ songs, talks about patient to make it in the entertainment industry.

The singer, real name Oluwafemi Oke-Eko, said he had been in the industry for a long time before his breakthrough came in 2017.

“Upcoming artistes must be patient and at the same time persistent in pursuing their goals and don’t make hasty decisions because of short term goals,” he told NAN.

“I’m saying this because I have to be patient and exercised a lot of caution for me to get to where I am today.

“I have been in the industry for a long while and faced so many challenges.

“I may not be where I want to be but I’m still grateful that I have made some sort of breakthrough.

“We must learn that patience pays and we shouldn’t rush into things because of the short term goals.”

He, however, urged the government to curb piracy in the industry.

“The biggest issue in the industry is piracy and this affects every artist in every way because it hinders our efforts,” he said.

“We know that government is trying its best in the fight against piracy but more efforts and steps can be taken.

“Piracy must be eradicated from the country and the public must help in that aspect.”

He also urged Nigerians to focus more on Nigerian songs to enable them gain more international recognition.

Eminem keeps breaking records as always. The 43-year-old who is known for schooling and ruining careers has made history (again) with his new diss track Killshot on Youtube.

The rapper’s diss track is in response to his one-time fan”MGK.

It all began when he released his surprise 10th album “Kamikaze” where he dissed Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) for tweeting “Okay, so I just saw a picture of Eminem’s daughter … and I have to say, she is hot as f**k, in the most respectful way possible because Em is king,” on his then 16-year-old daughter picture.

MGK responded with “Rap Devil” which garnered more than 36 million views in 24 hours and rose to the number spot.

Just when we thought it was over, Eminem responded days later with Killshot which came up on Friday. The diss track became the biggest debut for a hip-hop track as well as the third biggest in Youtube’s history.

The likes of 50cent believe that every other person is taking an “L” for the diss track:
Man do you see this shit, Think about it the Biggest hip-hop song on youtube 🤨now everybody gotta take a L because of MGK😠what the f**k, we didn’t have anything to do with this sh*t Damn 😡, how many times ya’llwas playing that sh*t. 😤LOL get the strap
On the 19th of September, MGK while performing his diss track, got booed on stage at the Fall Out Boy concert. This might as well be the end of his career.

Legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg has put Kanye West and Donald Trump on the blast again.
The 46-year-old rapper, who has long been an outspoken critic of the US President, was speaking on politics during an Sirius XM interview this week where he made his feelings known, saying a big 'f*** you' to Donald Trump along with a 'f*** you' to his supporter Kanye West.
When DJ Suss One brought up the topic after a warning that a lot of his listeners don't like it when he 'talks bad' about the president.
Snoop then replied to him saying: 'Well you need to know that a lot of your fans is racist. Ain't no f***** way around it.
'I tell 'em straight up muthaf****. If you like that n**** [Trump] you muthaf*****' racist. F*** you and f*** him. Now what?' the rapper said.
'N**** he drew the lines. He drew the muthaf*****’ lines. Before him there were no lines,' Snoop continued.
Snoop said that racism is a bigger issue now since Trump took office in January 2017.
'Everybody was everybody, we respected every thing, we didn't trip, but n**** when you drew the line and start pointing muthaf***** out and singling them out n*** f*** y’all then n****. You and them.'
Snoop then brought up Kanye, saying 'f*** him too,' adding, 'Kanye too. Don't forget about him too. F*** you too. Throw him in the bag, 'cause he right there with the muthaf*****.'

The governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has said he would win the Saturday election and dance to the Government House as the governor of the state.

He said this in Osogbo on Wednesday at an interactive session organised by the Oduduwa Youth Development Initiative.

Adeleke said the APC-led government had inflicted hardship on the people, saying he was confident of winning because of the support he enjoyed from the people throughout the state.

Asked why he was being referred to as dancing Senator, Adeleke said, “I will dance to the Government House after winning Osun governorship election on Saturday.

“ I have been tagged dancing Senator, but this shouldn’t be used against me because everybody dances. Have you seen someone who doesn’t dance? I am winning this election and I will dance to the Government House after that.

“When I was in the university overseas, I used to go for dancing competition. Although, I am a Nigerian, I still won dancing competitions which is the reason why I was nicknamed ‘Jackson,’ but my real name is Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke.”

Adeleke, who criticised the educational policy of Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s administration, said the unpaid salaries and school merger were some of the reasons for the poor performance of pupils of the state in public examinations.

He said, “Anybody who fails to pay his or her labourers is wicked and I can boldly say that the APC government is wicked for not paying its workers and pensioners in the state.

“The menace of non-payment of salary is responsible for the 29th position of this state in the ranking of WAEC; but when I get to power, I will turn it around by ensuring that the welfare of every worker in the state is catered for.

“The insensitivity of the All Progressives Congress government is responsible for the state where LAUTECH is today and it is evidently clear to the masses that the PDP government takes education as a priority.”

Adeleke later condemned the police invitation to him over the allegation of certificate forgery.

He spoke through the Director General of his Campaign Organisation,  Chief Lere Oyewumi, at a press conference on Wednesday.

He said the certificate issue had been tried and judgement given by an Osun State High Court presided over by Justice David Oladimeji.

He said the police invitation was unnecessary because another case on it was also before a court in Abuja.

He, however, commended Buhari for directing the police to stop the invitation.

“Ballots have been imprinted in Ondo State and they want to bring them in through Ife South, but we will resist them,” he added.

The vagina is the elastic, muscular part of the female genital tract. In humans, it extends from the vulva to the cervix. The outer vaginal opening is normally partly covered by a membrane called the hymen.

Research on the vagina has proven that all vaginas are not the same. Even though you have had a lot of se*ual partners, you might not have had a taste of all the delicacies out there. Each vagina type has its benefits, so read on to know how to have a good time when you encounter them.
1. The tight vagina:

Some women are naturally tight, no matter how many sex partners they have had. Men that find it difficult to last long in bed will need to be extra careful here, as this vagina is capable of massaging every inch of your dick and literally squeeze the man juice out of you within seconds.
2. The Loose vagina:

If you are very well endowed and women are uncomfortable having s*x with you, perhaps you need a woman with a loose vagina. This does does not automatically mean she is a slut, by the way, as once again, some things just happen naturally. Big-dicked men will finally feel at home with this woman.
3. The fat lipped vagina:

This is capable of providing extra cushion for your junk. Although, most men find it visually appealing but encounter not much difference during penetration itself. But if you are into giving oral s*x, then this might be the best kind for you.

4. The bony vagina:
Skinny or petite women are usually this way. It can feel really snug around your d*ck, but some men report that having their sensitive part come in contact with hardness can be offputting.

5. The shaved vagina:
This is the favourite of most porn lovers. It can be pretty hot to see all of it, and it is easier to make your way around. Perfect for men who love kinky s*x and would rather not spend time guessing.

6. The unshaved vagina:
This vagina belongs to a woman who is proud of her body and has no desire to groom just for s*x. Guys do not really have a problem with it, as it is just one more hurdle towards the promise land. But keep in mind that it could be harder to reach her sensitive areas if it is all covered in hair.

7. The perky-clit vagina:
There is no guessing game when it comes to finding her clitoris as it is always erect and protruding. If you are obsessed with getting your woman to cum, go for this kind. Their orgasms are usually easier to achieve and extremely intense.

Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho suffered an embarrassing fall and landed flat on his face outside of Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
The Portuguese coach was in north London to watch England's UEFA Nations League match against Spain when the incident occurred.
The 55-year-old was climbing over a red rope but caught it with his back leg and stumbled onto the floor.
It was however analysed by critics that Jose Mourinho as being behaving awkward in recent times ranging from the way he manages the United red devils to his recent sudden fall at wembley stadium and might however be tested for drugs overdose.
He quickly got up to his feet as he was helped up by a member of Wembley staff.

Experience is the best teacher". You are the teacher in this case and we expect you to handle her carefully.

It’s her first time so sex can be pretty clumsy and awkward, particularly when you are experienced and she is not.

So you need to be careful so your partner enjoys sex but you also have to keep your own pleasure in mind to make a memorable experience. Below are tips that will help you make sure you give your inexperienced partner the best sensual experience ever.

1. Make sure she’s relaxed

You can reduce much of her anxiety with a few simple tricks. She’s likely to be feeling self-conscious, so start with a few confidence boosters. Tell her she’s sexy and let her know she looks fabulous in your bed. Even if she already knows this, hearing you say it will do wonders. Spend extra time kissing, letting her know you’re focused is on her, and not just her body.

2. Also take it slow

You are not only a sex partner in this situation, you are a teacher. So if you want your partner to get the maximum pleasure from sex, then you definitely need to take things slow and give her time to catch up. You should tease, touch and caress her slowly so she can get used to the excitement.

3. Turn her on

Unfortunately, many men break the mojo just before penetration. It’s not deliberate, they just get a bit tense knowing they’re about to cause their partner a minor amount of pain. Relax, she knows what’s coming and she’s not going to hold it against you. Go slowly, but don’t forget to kiss and caress her as you do. This gives her something else to focus on and keeps her aroused.

4. Encourage her

A sexual rookie needs encouragement and a lot of it. They need to know they are doing something right so do not forget to compliment her and show your approval.

5. Let her lead

She might feel nervous and shy but for her to have a swell time, she needs to feel relaxed and confident. So to make this happen, she needs to be in control, give her a chance to take the lead. Let her have the chance to follow her senses so she can please you also.

The Kano State Police command has arrested an administrator and members of a WhatsApp group for allegedly circulating fake news and an image of a married woman whom they claimed was trafficking in children in the city.
It was reported that the spokesperson of the Police in the state, Superintendent of Police Magaji Maaji said the suspects were arrested and paraded after the victim of the circulated image lodged a formal complaint to the police command. “We received a complaint from a married woman and a civil servant, Mrs Bushirat Madaki, that her picture is being shared on WhatsApp group with the intent to malign and incite the public against her. “Upon receiving the complaint, the commissioner of Police, CP Rabiu Yusuf ordered an immediate investigation by a special team who were able to trace and arrest three married suspects, a man and two women for circulating the fake and offensive information. “When confronted over the petition against them, the suspects admitted that the image and material on the woman were shared and forwarded in their group.

“They also admitted that they didn’t know the woman in person and have never had interaction with her before distributing the image and the story. They, therefore, sought forgiveness. “For now, the police command has granted the suspects bail because the offence is bailable while further investigation is ongoing. The police command is also currently providing security cover for the innocent woman for fear of mob attacks because her image and the false report on her have gone viral,” Magaji said.

In what seemed like a coordinated attack, when presidential aspirant, #Takeitback convener and founder of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore,, his supporters from Obafemi Awolowo University and members of movement were tear-gassed while prostrating before the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, on Monday 10th September 2019.

As the situation deteriorated, Sowore rushed to check up on students of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), who accompanied him to the palace. He was in the process physically assaulted by thugs within the palace premises.

Palace sources, who asked not to be named, revealed that the reason for the assault was that Sowore initially refused to prostrate to the Ooni to protest the three-hour delay in attending to members of the movement who had waited for the Ooni.

As the incident unravelled, one student and another member of the royal household collapsed due to respiratory challenges arising from the toxic fumes.

Sowore, who confronted the Ooni on the assault on his person and members of his movement, wondered why a guest would be attacked within palace premises.

Responding, the Ooni swiftly condemned the attack, saying such had never happened before in a palace in Nigeria and called for calm and restraint on both sides. He regretted the ugly incident, describing it as embarrassing. He assured Sowore of his continued support and collaboration.

It should be noted that this is the 3rd aspirant the monarch assured support and collaboration.

The attacks were streamed live on Facebook @Omoyele Sowore.

The New York Fashion Week fight heard ‘round the town happened tonight when Cardi B and Nicki Minaj were involved in a heated altercation during the Harper's Bazaar Icon party.

In videos captured by fellow guests and circulating on social media, the two rappers were seen in a scuffle towards the end of the party.
An insider tells us that Minaj was mingling with guests and keeping to herself when Cardi lunged at her and began shouting. Minaj then didn't move and continued on with her night.
Footage appeared on social media showing Offset's leading lady throwing a red high heel at the rapper.
And while no police reports have been filed as of yet, Cardi was seen escorted out of the private event with her team in tow.
Also visible on the new mother was a large bruise above her left eye. Shortly after the fight, Cardi took to Instagram to vent her frustrations over the "Bed" rapper.
"I've let a lot of s--t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f--k up the way I eat! You've threatened other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you'll stop f--kin with them!! I let you talk big s--t about me!!"
She continued, "I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped a plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f--kin off!! I've worked too hard and come too far to let anybody f--k with my success!!!!"
Cardi concluded by writing, "Bitches talk all that s--t in they raps but in real life they p--sy!! This s--t really is for entertainment!!"
Nicki has yet to publicly comment about what went down tonight at the NYFW party, but it's only a matter of time before she tells her side of things (cue the next installment of Queen Radio).
She did, however, take to social media after the argument—but not to talk about the Invasion of Privacy star. Nope, instead, Minaj showcased her leopard print ensemble in a series of Instagram pics that focused on what the night was really supposed to be about: fashion
